Do you understand the magnetic properties and applications of sintered neodymium iron boron magnets

Sintered NdFeB is a high-performance permanent magnet material based on the intermetallic compound Nd ₂ Fe ₁₄ B. Its main components are neodymium (Nd), iron (Fe), and boron (B), with some formulations adding other metal elements. Sintered neodymium iron boron has reliable magnetic properties and a wide range of application fields.

To prevent oxidation and corrosion of sintered neodymium iron boron, electroplating (galvanizing, nickel, silver, etc.) or epoxy resin spraying treatment is often used. During the production process of sintered neodymium iron boron, it is necessary to strictly control the sintering process to avoid defects such as pores and abnormally large grains.
Magnetic properties of sintered neodymium iron boron
High magnetic energy product: The magnetic energy product can reach 366-398 kJ/m3, with outstanding energy density;
High coercivity: The intrinsic coercivity is usually above 800 kA/m, and the anti demagnetization ability is strong;
High residual magnetism: maintains a high magnetic induction intensity even after demagnetization, suitable for long-term stable operation.
Temperature coefficient: The reversible temperature coefficient is low, and the high-temperature stability is poor;
Application fields of sintered neodymium iron boron
Electronics industry: miniaturized devices such as hard disk drives, speakers, and mobile phone vibrators;
Automotive field: electric vehicle motors, generators, magnetic levitation systems;
Medical equipment: nuclear magnetic resonance machine, magnetic therapy equipment;
Other fields: wind power generation, sensors, precision instruments and meters.
