Neodymium Pot Magnets for Holding, Mounting, and Fixing Applications

Pot magnets with internal threaded stems are powerful mounting magnets . These magnetic assemblies are built with N35 neodymium disc magnets embedded in a steel pot. The steel casing creates a strong vertical magnetic pull force (especially on a flat iron or steel surface), concentrating the magnetic force and directing it to the contact surface. Pot magnets are magnetized on one side and the other side can be fitted with screws, hooks and fasteners to fixed products.

High in magnetic strength for their small size, neodymium pot magnets are ideal for all types of applications where high strength magnets are required. They are often used for heavy duty holding, mounting, and fixing purposes in workstations, classrooms, offices, warehouses, for pop displays, as retrieval magnets and more.

Product Features

● Constructed with N35 Neodymium magnets encased in a nickel-plated steel casing.

● Magnetized on one side with strong magnetic pull force.

● Plated with a triple layer of Ni-Cu-Ni (Nickel+Copper+Nickel) using an electrolytic based process for maximum protection against corrosion & oxidation.

● Internal threaded stems accommodate standard screws, hooks & fasteners.

Advantages of Pot Magnet

Compared with single neodymium countersunk magnet, pot magnet has more advantages:

1. More Magnetic Strength with Small Size: the steel housing concentrates magnetic force on one side and increases the holding power dramatically.

2. Cost Saving: due to the super-strong magnetic force, it can use less rare earth magnet and reduce the magnet cost.

3. Durability: neodymium magnets are very brittle, steel, or rubber covering can protect them.

4. Mounting Options: pot magnets can apply to many accessories, so they can work with different mounting options.

Recently, Stanford Magnets succeed in redesigning a strong pot magnet assembly after two unsuccessful attempts. In the case of no change of magnet system size, it increases the magnetic pull force greatly.
